A hugely successful, second-generation engineering business is currently seeking a quality inspector to join its well-established manufacturing team. This business has been at the pinnacle of precision engineering for decades, with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Derbyshire. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Inspection of all manufactured components on-site throughout the manufacturing cycle, ensuring that processes are being adhered to and when possible, improved.

Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:

Ensuring all components are manufactured within customer specifications
Generation and completion of FAIRS
Operation and Programming of CMM machines
Completion of minor rework to non-conforming components
Communicating feedback to key personnel

The successful candidate will be an experienced Quality Inspector with an understanding of CMM operation and generation of FAIRS
