Think Construction are pleased to have been instructed by a leading developer and main contractor to find a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This role offers an opportunity to join a commercial team of 7 people and all about promoting within. All work is regional and within an hour of their office in Derby.

The company

Our client is an award winning employer, they are leading provider of mixed tenure affordable homes and have a reputation for innovation and excellence in the delivery of high-quality housing development and regeneration projects. As a region they turned over 60m this year, with another 10% growth projected next year with all secured work.

The role

In this role you will ensure effective cash management and careful administration of subcontractor accounts, at all times being aware of the need to cultivate longstanding relationships and promote dispute avoidance. You will be responsible for swiftly identifying any commercial threats to projects and working cloesely with the MQS and Commercial Director on dealing with such issues.

Our client is looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to progress as they are a business that is big on internal progression and people growing with the business. You will need to be client focussed with the ability to make decisions and communicate them well to all stakeholders.

This is also a great opportunity for someone who is a Quantity Surveyor wanting to take a step up.

Package:

Up to 65k (depending on experience) + car allowance
