A prestigious opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Audio Project Design Engineer to join a leading technical centre in Europe, renowned for its innovative approach to vehicle design and development. What You Will Do:

  • Manage in-development and in-production parts and suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Conduct both digital and physical layout checks for components, focusing on audio components such as speakers, microphones, and amplifiers.
  • Collaborate with external partners to manage tuning parameters and implement them into unit configuration data.
  • Perform design reviews at key milestones to ensure project deadlines are met and design releases align with schedules.
  • Support manufacturing plants and achieve annual cost reduction targets.
  • Utilise problem-solving tools and techniques with a strong mathematical understanding to innovate and improve.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, with experience in manufacturing BOM management being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools, especially Excel at an intermediate/advanced level.
  • Fluent written and verbal English language capability and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with speaker and audio components design, wiring, and vehicle tuning.
  • Knowledge of vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, A2B) and electrical/electronic architectures.
