Pay: £27.00 per hour
We are seeking a Design Engineering Services professional to join a globally recognised automotive company in Cranfield. This long-term contract role offers the potential for several years of work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop the clients Genuine Accessories across multiple disciplines, including Electrical (Bias), Mechanical, and Trim (flexibility is desired).
• Confirm fitment and application of accessories with vehicles.
• Ensure development meets technical, cost, and timing targets.
• Support the adoption of accessories for Special Versions (SV) vehicles.
• Address market and quality inquiries as needed.
• Successfully complete design reviews at various stages of development.
• Ensure timely delivery of accessories against key milestones.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Honours degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Automotive OEM and/or relevant supplier experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably NX).
• Strong communication skills, both clear and conscious.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within the client’s engineering standards.
• Support from the client’s (NTCE) technical functions will be provided as needed.
Hours & Pay:
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
• Pay: £27.00 per hour.
