• Implement infotainment systems, ensuring they meet European customer requirements and company standards.
• Collaborate with global teams to develop specifications and manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Manage in-house and supplier validation of components, adhering to design standards.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and purchasing teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure all system components are correctly packaged and connected, meeting design and regulatory requirements.
• Provide comprehensive status reports to management and participate in design reviews.

• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, with a strong foundation in communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, ethernet.
• Experience in automotive electrical and electronic development, with a focus on infotainment systems or similar ECU products.
• Proficiency in CAD systems and Office 365 tools, with an intermediate/advanced level in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to travel as needed for project success.

As an Infotainment Application Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining this company's position as a Centre of Excellence for automotive design and development. Your contributions will directly influence the quality and innovation of vehicles produced for the European market, reinforcing the company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in the automotive industry.

This role is based in Cranfield, with a requirement to be on-site for a minimum of three days a week, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and flexibility.
