Engineering Project Manager - 0961 - £27.94 / hr PAYE rate

What You Will Do:

- Take ownership and proactively deliver on Project KPI's (Quality, Cost, Timing), maintaining a keen eye on the vehicle development status against its performance metrics.

- Lead the preparation for Milestone Meetings, ensuring a thorough understanding of development status and crafting recovery plans where necessary.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with all stakeholders to share project information, progress engineering concern resolution, and manage project manpower against budgets.

- Drive cost reduction and quality/customer satisfaction improvement activities, proposing and supporting knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives.

- Utilize strong analytical skills alongside technical knowledge to prepare, develop, and review engineering proposals and schedules.

- Promote a multicultural environment, communicating clearly with team members whose first language may not be English.

What You Will Bring:

- An Engineering Degree or equivalent in a STEM/Product/Industrial Design subject, with engineering experience in the automotive or a similar industry.

- A high attention to detail with clear reporting skills and confidence in presenting to senior management.

- A broad experience of vehicle development with a clear understanding of the development process.

- Experience in stakeholder and vehicle development project management, including digital and physical development and technical concern analysis.

- Self-motivation with the ability to manage multiple complex work streams and strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

- High proficiency in MS Office suite and project cost management experience.
