A Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in the education of secondary pupils by providing a seamless gap in learning in the short-term absence of Teacher.
For those considering teaching as a career, Principal Resourcing have an excellent track record of supporting new candidates to progress onto teacher training through experience working with us as a Cover Supervisor.
Basic role responsibilities:
- Supervising students and maintaining a structured environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task.
- Assisting with educational resources.
- Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.
