Housekeeper Job Live In or Live Out - Whitchurch, Shropshire (SY13) - start ASAP - full-time Monday to Friday - £40,000 to £45,000 GPA
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to look after a busy family between Whitchurch and Ellesmere, Shropshire. You will be looking after a large 5 bed property in a rural location which also has an indoor swimming pool and gym.
The family have 3 school aged children and a dog although no childcare, other than some occasional babysitting would be required.
The main focus of this role is to keep the house clean and well organised with an emphasis on hands on cleaning.
Duties will include:
- Hands on cleaning - experience with the care of different surfaces including marble, granite and brass
- Bed making and changing
- Laundry - household and personal - must have experience with the care of fine fabrics and hand washing
- Wardrobe management
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Bathroom cleaning
- Occasional babysitting
- Family Cooking
- Helping with the dog
- Running errands
- Generally keeping the home well organised, clean and tidy at all times
You need to be a self manager with an eye for detail and be happy to do all hands on cleaning.
You must have had experience in a similar role within a private household - excellent references required + Enhanced DBS check.
Driver & non-smoker essential
Full-time role normally Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility
Accommodation can be offered in the form of your own room within a separate lodge house accommodation ( shared with a family member )
£40,000 to £45,000 GPA
