Accounts Senior

Accounts Senior required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based near to Whitchurch, Shropshire. They have a variety of clients, mainly from local small to medium sized businesses including farmers, retailers, manufacturers and commercial services. They encompass sole traders, partnerships, limited liability partnerships and limited companies.

• Accounts preparation for a variety of clients
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties
• Liaise with HMRC to ensure client accounts are up to date
• General adhoc duties as and when they arise
• Liaise with clients and answer any queries

• Previous accounts preparation experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience preparing accounts
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience using various accountancy software's

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and be ACCA part-qualified.

• £30,000-£35,000 (DOE)
