Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Supply Desk are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Primary School on the outskirts of Winchester

Starting March 2025 on a long-term contract

Pay: £80 - £100 per day

Hours: 08:30  - 15:30

Supply Desk is proud to support a medium sized 2 form entry school in the Winchester area. This school was recently awarded “Good” in its most recent Ofsted with areas of Outstanding. This school is noted for children enjoying going to school and for it’s supportive and hardworking staff. There are a number of children with additional needs and the school strives to be inclusive and adapting ensuring all children succeed and achieve.

Job Description:

• Working with a range of ages in small groups to support English and Maths
• Supporting whole class with Guided Reading, Maths and English, phonics and general classroom support if needed
• Supporting those with additional needs including EHCPs
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Pay: Daily Rate (£80-£100)
• Location: Outskirts of Winchester 
• Start Date: March 2025
• Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
• Hours: Full time

Individual Profile:

• Good subject knowledge required
• HLTA certification
• Must have good classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Intervention experience preferred
