Construction Manager (Nuclear & Defence, NAECI Experience, Mechanical/Steel Installation)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to join an SME business established in the Nuclear & Defence Market! With an incredible track record across the UK's Mechanical and Steel Installation industries, we are looking for a person with enthusiasm for a bigger picture, and the ability to spot and seize upon opportunities.

This position is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with expertise in nuclear or defence environments. The role would suit someone with extensive experience in mechanical or steel installations, strong leadership abilities, and a keen understanding of the NAECI agreement. Candidates should be adept at managing subcontractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction activities within nuclear and defence projects, ensuring compliance with NAECI and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee mechanical and steel installation operations, ensuring quality control, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and risk assessments to meet project objectives.
- Ensure all site operations comply with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for industrial relations matters, liaising with trade unions, employee representatives, and stakeholders to maintain a productive working environment.
- Support the generation of new work and leads and any relevant business winning activities
