Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Graduate EC&I Engineer with an interest in the nuclear or defence sector to be engaged on a permanent basis in Cumbria, with site visits 2/3 days a week.

About the Opportunity

Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Ensuring design is produced in line with required Regulatory, Customer and Company standards

  • Delivery and verification of EC&I related engineering design deliverables to cost, schedule and quality

  • Overseeing team progressing and reporting

  • Interface co-ordination with other engineering disciplines

  • Performing appropriate engineering reviews

  • Identifying discipline resource needs and supporting in the recruitment process

  • Ensuring design change and configuration is effectively managed

  • The identification of changes in the scope of work and ensuring that appropriate change requests are implemented



Qualifications


  • Bachelors Degree

  • Mobilising/recruiting discipline engineering resources including competency assessment

  • Due to the nature of work to be undertaken, applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance
