We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Support/Waste Engineer for our client on TDA Alliance. This is for legacy pond work situated on Sellafield site, Cumbria.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified to degree level in a relevant scientific/technical subject or HNC/HND, with more than 5 years relevant experience. Chartered/working towards qualification.
P4 pass holder.
SC clearance.
SL experience (worked on SL plants/systems)
Location – based in Cumbria. Available to attend Sellafield Site/ Plant/Cumbria Office when required.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Monitored Worker.
Legacy Ponds/Retrievals experience.
Ability to support technical trials/operations in the active area.

Key Deliverables:

Key deliverables of the role will be directed by the Technical Managers, working with the plant-facing technical delivery teams. Development & delivery of plant facing technical requirements, in support of the High Hazard Risk Reduction missions in our facilities. This will include development & delivery of operational learning & improvement plans, to accelerate mission delivery.


Activities include but are not limited to:

Strategic & Technical delivery against key programme risks & assumptions in LP.

Technical input to controlling documents. Interpreting data & producing technical reports.

On and off-plant trials.

Interactions with other disciplines/external Consultants etc.
