Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager on a permanentbasis, to be located in Whitehaven.

Profile
To support our client in ensuring the functionality, safety and sustainability of our property portfolio's buildings, grounds, infrastructure, and real estate.
To be the primary Facilities contact for customers, delivery partners and the wider team.
To supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Facilities Team, to develop the capabilities of the people within the Facilities Team, ensuring a resilient Facilities function.
Vital operational responsibilities include: -
Supervision and delivery against building maintenance schedules
Procurement and contract management of delivery partners
Contractor and utilities management
Overall responsibility for Health and Safety across the business
Budget management and monitoring in line with service charge requirements
Education

  • Minimum three years' experience in a facilities role with strong H&S knowledge and a strong FM background
  • Experience of working in a Customer Service environment.
  • Ability to work under own initiative to agreed guidelines and timescales.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and job tasks.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management; Member of IWFM with IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (Desirable)
