The EHS Compliance Manager will be responsible for:
- Oversee and enhance process safety measures across the site, ensuring compliance with COMAH and EPR regulation
- You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
- Drive cultural and behavioural safety initiatives
- Coaching, managing and developing various senior stakeholders will be essential
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Collaborate with the Global EHS Director to support best practices are being shared across sites
The EHS Compliance Manager will have:
- Must have experience of working within a regulated industrial environment, ideally Chemical manufacturing
- COMAH experience is essential
- NEBOSH Diploma or NCRQ equivalent, CMIOSH would be desirable
- IEMA Qualification
- Strong understanding of risk assessments, process safety management, and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of management systems of ISO 14001, 45001
- Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital
- Personality, influencing skills and engagement are crucial
