Sellick partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Housing Officer for a housing association based in Whitehaven on an ongoing temporary basis.

The Housing Manager will act as the face-to-face contact for customer support to the communities and neighbourhood.

Duties of the Housing Officer:

  • Engage with customers in neighbourhood and proactivity estates, looking after a number of patches
  • Help improve local neighbourhoods, managing anti-social behaviours in our estates, responding to customer queries and complaints
  • Managing voids process including liaising with local authorities
  • Carry out estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site, as well as carrying out and recording the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities

Experience required for the Housing Officer:

  • Experience working on a patch supporting tenants
  • Dealt with anti-social behavioural issues
  • Able to travel across patch
