Mechanical Workshop Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Workshop Technician to join a reputable engineering company based in South East Kent.This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to work in a dedicated workshop environment, focusing on mechanical repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling industrial mechanical components, including pumps, motors, and gear systems

Diagnosing faults, assessing wear and tear, and identifying appropriate repair solutions

Using precision measuring tools to check tolerances and ensure correct alignment

Conducting mechanical overhauls and refurbishments in line with industry standards

Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized workshop environment

Following health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with company policies
Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally with an apprenticeship background

Hands-on expertise with rotating equipment, motors, and industrial machinery

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work methodically

A proactive approach to maintenance and repair work

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
