Stafford

Morning shifts 7.30am - 4.30 pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 7.30am - 12pm.

OR Afternoon shifts - 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday

37 hours per week

Summary: Assembly Technician

GI Pro are working with a leading equipment supplier for the energy sector based in Stafford and are recruiting for Assembly Technician to work on a full-time contract

The shifts are working a day shift giving a 37-hour paid week

Offering hourly rates of pay of 13.16 - 16.19 per hour, with overtime rates paid at an enhanced rate.

This is a full-time position which could lead to a permanent role for the right person.

Morning shifts or afternoon shifts available.

The role: Assembly Technician

  • Assembly of Power Generation equipment from prefabricated parts
  • Assembly from drawings and using hand, and air tools.
  • Materials used are metal, plastic and wires.
  • Working within 6 assembly lines that each contain 8 stations.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

The candidate: Assembly Technician

Preferably Assembly experience with small products whilst working from drawings or diagrams.
