An award-winning manufacturer in South West Wales is currently looking to strengthen its Quality team with the key acquisition of a Supplier Quality Engineer, responsible for managing and maintaining company supplier quality processes. With investment secured for the next 5 years, this company is in a leading position to capitalise on the market. They are targeting significant growth this year after releasing a new product into market.

The Role:

  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships regarding quality
  • Monitoring supplier quality performance encompassing supplier audits
  • Manufacturing partner audit/development
  • Addressing supplier quality issues inc. investigation and corrective actions.
  • Establishing, implementing, and maintaining processes needed for the QMS.
  • Support of CAPA system
  • Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR)
  • CAPA/NCR/Change Control
  • Goods In-Inspection and QC Release activities

What you need?

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years previous experience working within a quality assurance and/or quality control environment.
  • You will have experience in a highly regulated industry such as Pharma, Medical Device, Automotive, Aerospace etc.
  • Understanding of and working to requirements of Quality System Regulations
  • Working knowledge on the application of ISO13485
  • To have an understanding of the quality management principles such as Change Control, Non-Conformances, Problem Solving (8D/Fishbone/5-Why/Kaizen), CAPA etc.
