An award-winning manufacturer in South West Wales is currently looking to strengthen its Quality team with the key acquisition of a Supplier Quality Engineer, responsible for managing and maintaining company supplier quality processes. With investment secured for the next 5 years, this company is in a leading position to capitalise on the market. They are targeting significant growth this year after releasing a new product into market.
The Role:
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships regarding quality
- Monitoring supplier quality performance encompassing supplier audits
- Manufacturing partner audit/development
- Addressing supplier quality issues inc. investigation and corrective actions.
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining processes needed for the QMS.
- Support of CAPA system
- Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR)
- CAPA/NCR/Change Control
- Goods In-Inspection and QC Release activities
What you need?
- The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years previous experience working within a quality assurance and/or quality control environment.
- You will have experience in a highly regulated industry such as Pharma, Medical Device, Automotive, Aerospace etc.
- Understanding of and working to requirements of Quality System Regulations
- Working knowledge on the application of ISO13485
- To have an understanding of the quality management principles such as Change Control, Non-Conformances, Problem Solving (8D/Fishbone/5-Why/Kaizen), CAPA etc.
