This is a great opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to work for a market leading Engineering company with multiple sites.

Duties include:

• Lead the creation and improvement of new and existing products, focusing on innovation and customer needs.
• Take charge of design quality, ensuring compliance with performance, regulatory, and customer standards.
• Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and technical specs.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and ensuring top performance.
• Oversee projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and maintain technical standards.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support to the team.
• Support testing and certification, resolving design issues as needed.
• Oversee prototype creation and testing to meet design goals and standards.

The successful Senior Design Engineer will have/be:

• Relevant mechanically biased Engineering qualifications - degree level or equivalent
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Precision in design and documentation.
• Experience in driving new product design.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
