Chemical Analyst

East Kent

Competitive DOE 

Monday to Friday (6am – 2pm)

Monday to Thursday (2pm – 10:30pm) and Friday (2pm – 7:30pm)

Rare and exciting opportunity to join an innovative manufacturer in East Kent as a Chemical Analyst.

You will be responsible for the control and maintenance of metal finishing and electroplating solution tanks, analysing chemicals and striving for process and product improvement.

Duties include:

  • Regularly analysing chemical solutions and materials.
  • Problem solving in relation to chemical solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Maintaining quality and disposal records with accuracy.
  • Producing documents outlining analytical techniques.
  • Identifying and analysing root cause production issues.
  • Any other duties as required.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience within a similar role in manufacturing.
  • An understanding of what electroplating is, ideally with some experience of this.
  • A degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a related field (Chemistry ideally).
  • Knowledge of environmental permits.
  • A logical approach with the ability to drive process and product improvement.
  • The ability to commit to the rotating shift pattern.
