I have partnered with a largely growing organisation who due to their continued growth are recruiting for a UK & Ireland Sales Manager to join the team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth, increase sales, market share, and profitability. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, sales pipeline management, and building strong relationships with key clients and industry influencers.

Day to Day of the role for the Sales Manager:

  • Develop and execute a detailed sales strategy and business plan, setting clear goals and objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline, ensuring smooth collaboration with relevant departments from order to invoicing.
  • Focus on the market segment, executing account plans and strategies.
  • Stay abreast of economic, industry, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients and expanding the customer base.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Sales Manager:

  • Experience working or knowledge of Laboratory equipment is essential.
  • Proven experience in a successful Sales/Business Development role.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record in sales performance.
  • Ability to interpret market trends and data.
  • Independent and collaborative work skills.
  • Proactive and result-oriented approach.

Benefits of the Sales Manager:

  • £50000-£55000 salary based on experience
  • 10% net margin commission structure
  • £6500 car allowance and milage
  • Hybrid working model, allowing for a flexible work-life balance – must visit Kent site once/twice a month
