Job Description: Assistant Project Manager Location: Office-based in Whitstable, with regular site visits. Sector: Leisure, Retail, and Office Projects About the Role: My client are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a trade background who has transitioned from Site Management and is looking to further their career in project management. You will be working on a variety of projects within the leisure, retail, and office sectors, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation. Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in site management, preferably within the leisure, retail, or office sectors. 1-2 years at Assistant Project Manager level Strong trade background with hands-on experience in construction or related fields. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
