The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee warehouse operations and drive efficiency within a growing team. You will play a key role in day-to-day activities, including assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch, while contributing to the introduction of new technologies and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Manage receiving, storage, assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch processes to ensure efficient workflows and on-time order fulfilment.
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule staff to maintain a productive, safe, and well-organised working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock control, implement measures to reduce waste, and optimise storage processes.
  • Quality and Compliance: Uphold quality standards, enforce safety protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance through ongoing training and reviews.
  • Vendor & Client Coordination: Handle consignments, manage order discrepancies, process returns, and maintain professional relationships with vendors and customers.
  • System Implementation: Lead the implementation and onboarding of a new barcode system, ensuring smooth integration and providing training to team members.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehouse leadership role.
  • Proficient in warehouse and inventory systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and order processing.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence is essential.
  • Experience in implementing and training teams on new warehouse technologies is highly desirable.
  • Due to the location of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
