The role is due to team expansion and requires experience in moulding and process improvement.
Candidates should have a HNC/HND or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and previous experience as a Process Engineer.
The successful applicant will support production and address Process/Quality issues affecting manufacturing.
The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

We are working with a reputable manufacturer in Kent who are looking to hire a Process Engineer with experience of moulding.

The role has been created due to expansion of the already well-established team, and the successful appointee will support production by developing and improving processes.

Our client supplies electronics products into the aerospace, defence and military industries.

Responsibilities:

Fast turnaround and corrective action for Process/Quality issues affecting production
Ensure in conjunction with other engineering functions that all new products or updated tools for moulded components are verified as production ready prior to production release
Support tool design for new and legacy product, reviewing suitability for manufacture.
Carry out review of and take ownership for implementation of root cause fix and complete close out on all customer concerns

Skills & Experience required:

HNC/HND or above level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Previous experience working in a Process Engineer role within a Manufacturing or Process Engineering environment
Experience of moulding
