My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit an Inspection Engineer on an initial 6 month Temp contract.
The main requirements of the role include
- Inspection experience covering non-conformance handling, reporting, approval/rejection, identifying appropriate inspection methods, manual measurements, computerized inspection.
- Confident in drawing/standard interpretation to ASME, ISO, and internal/customer standards
- Competent with CMM operation, multi-part setups, and universal/part specific fixturing.
- Competent with Zeiss Inspect GOM scanning, experience scanning complex geometries and creating basic reports.
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Visual inspection experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable discussing inspection topics and supporting other functions with inspection needs.
- Comfortable discussing, explaining, and advising on complex inspection topics
- Competent with IT systems (ERP, MS Office, basic CAD packages)
- Experience with castings/additive manufactured parts and machined parts (preferred)
The pay-rate for this role is 16 an hour and the hours required are Mon-Fri 8-4
