My client, an Engineering company based in Stourport-on-Severn is looking to recruit a Trainee Engineer on a Permanent basis.
You will be fully trained to become a Contracts Engineer and get to support across different departments including Design, Quality, Purchasing and Sales, the role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in Engineering
The main focus of the role will include
- Be fully conversant with the company's products
- Understand the order process
- Be able to produce manufacturing drawings
- be responsible for buying components when necessary
- Speak to customers on a daily basis
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English, Grade 5 in physics or at least one relevant A level grade C or above, or BTEC level 3 as an alternative.
- Strong Attention to detail is key to this role
- A methodical, investigative approach
- Good IT skills
- excellent customer service skills with an ability to get on with people at all levels
The working hours are Mon-Thurs (Apply online only) and 1300 finish on Fridays and the starting salary will be 22,308
