My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit an NDT Technician on a permanent basis.
The main responsibilities associated with the role include
- Carry out visual NDT inspections in line with customer requirements
- Generate reports on inspection findings
- Identify non-conforming parts
- report quality issues
- Conduct 5s and TPM activities
- support with final release inspection
- support QMS development
As a suitable candidates you will offer the following
- previous experience as an NDT technician or inspector
- experience of setting up and standardizing equipment
- experience of conducting system performance check-ins
- Knowledge of video/borescopes for internal inspection
- an ability to offer support and guidance to trainees
- Level 2 or above certification in ISO9712 or EN4179 visual testing
- an ability to read engineering drawings
- experience creating visual inspection data-cards
The salary on offer is up to 35,000 and the role is Monday-Friday
