My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer on a Temp-to-Perm or permanent basis, depending on the suitable candidates availability.
You will work collaboratively with the Engineering and Technical Teams to develop production methods as well as ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
The main requirements of the role include
- Collaborate with colleagues on new product development
- Design Tooling and fixtures
- Train operational teams and coordinate with sub-contractors to improve manufacturing processes
- Drive Continuous Improvement across the manufacturing team
- Support with all technical documentation
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Experience in high-volume production manufacturing and process flow-down requirements
- an ability to interpret customer specifications
- strong communication skills with an ability manage technical issues as they arise
- Strong IT skills incl MS Office and ERP systems
The salary for this role will be determined by the relevant candidates suitable experience
