The role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 ADHD Support Assistant to join our team. As an ADHD Support Assistant, you will work closely with a specific student with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to help them overcome learning barriers, promote their engagement, and encourage positive behaviours in the classroom. Your role will be vital in ensuring the child's progress and well-being within the school community.

Requirements
* Experience working with children with ADHD or similar behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning and development.
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
* A positive and nurturing approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
