Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a rapidly expanding business as they look for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and will live locally to Caterham as its an office based role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Control of the accounting functions, financial transactions and financial reporting, VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax
  • Ensuring regulatory financial requirements are met
  • Creating and maintaining systems to improve reporting and data sharing across
  • departments
  • Analysing company performance
  • Developing detailed and agile forecasting models
  • Contributing to our financial strategy and decision-making process
  • Develop and implement local financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial control and compliance.
  • Oversee production of monthly management accounts and provide analysis to management on financial performance.
  • Prepare effective budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure strong controls and processes are in place over the balance sheet and that working capital is effectively managed.
  • Ensuring Bank Recs are carried out weekly
  • Working with external Accountants
  • Manage and develop the accounting team
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.
  • Ensure VAT return completed in time and accurately.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the management team.
