Recruitment Officer - Education (SEMH/SEND Schools) - £31k to £33k - 1 Year Full-time Contact - Warlingham, Surrey
An academic trust of schools, specialising in Special Educations needs (SEND) provision and support, is looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer with previous education experience. Ideally you will have experience in education in Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a full-time, 1-year contract as they are on-boarding a few more schools, and will need someone who can interact well with people at all levels, supporting the Head Teachers at the different schools.
SALARY ETC:
- £31k to £33k + Benefits
- Full-time, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm.
- 1-Year contract
- This is office based, in Warlingham, Surrey, however once a month you will be required to visit the different schools in London and the surrounding counties.
- Start: ASAP, but happy to wait for the right person.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have rights to work in the UK (unable to offer sponsorship)
- Previous recruitment experience within education, specifically within SEMH/SEND
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience of using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Experience of negotiating rates & building relationships with recruitment agencies
- Must be happy to travel to our sites to work with the Headteachers.
- Ideally you will have a car, for ease of access to some sites, although it could be possible to use public transport.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Supporting the HR & Head Teachers with recruitment of suitable personnel for vacancies within the schools and support services.
- To visit the schools and build a good working relationship with Head Teachers, understanding their requirements and gaining a knowledge of the different sites.
- To support with compiling and updating of job descriptions and ensuring compliance with grading etc.
- Liaising closely with the HR team and reporting of recruitment progression.
- Building good relationships with recruitment agencies and negotiation of rates and ensuring good communication.
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and policies and procedures.
- Liaising with applicants and agencies, ensuring good record keeping and communication.
- Maintaining systems accurately with good record keeping.
