Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our client's dynamic team in Chelmsford. As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to their diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Reviewing financial statements and audit reports, identifying any areas of risk or concern.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
- Ensuring all audit work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an audit role, preferably within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
