Account Manager

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Our well established client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join their Hire Team, specializing in rental solutions for equipment.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in account management, business development or similar.

You'll need excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, foster new relationships, and ensure their hire services exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
  • Convert warm inbound leads to sales.
  • Seek out new business prospects.
  • Provide tailored solutions to clients by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of hire services, from setup to post-hire support.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, driving revenue growth for the Hire Team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to provide value-added insights to clients.
  • Upselling and cross selling.
  • Correctly using the CRM ensuring all customer details, notes and relevant information are correct and up to date.

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role such as account management, business development, sales development or sales administrator.
  • Self motivated.
  • Confidence to pick up the phone and bring in new business.
  • Excellent eye for detail and proof reading all information before it's sent to clients.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
