A leading construction business are expanding their team and looking for a Senior Estimator who will work on a range of different projects within the Commercial, Retail, Residential and Education sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet all tender deadlines
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis, ensuring all tenders are complete and accurate
  • Secure profitable projects for the business
  • Allocation of Estimating team to each tender opportunity and management of the submission process
  • Review all tenders before submission
  • Provide accurate tender reporting
  • Identify and assess potential risks within each tender
  • Lead weekly team meetings
  • Reviewing the documents and rates, ensuring these are in-line with the market
  • Collation of estimating date to assist with future tender process
  • Undertake site visits if required
  • Ad-hoc duties

Your Experience:

  • Ability to build up estimates from the first priniciples based on the scope of each project
  • Read drawings and understand key elements
  • Understand buildability and implications for estimating and pricing
  • Good technical knowledge of the construction methods
