The company:
Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive manufacturing company.
Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced CNC Miller with Programming//Setting/Operating experience to join and be part of their manufacturing workshop team.
Offering a range of benefits including flexi-start time, private healthcare, generous holiday allowance and more, this is an excellent time to join this fast-expanding company.The successful candidate will be a CNC Miller - Programmer/setter/operator, to programme, set and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain control system.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Programming from scratch using Hypermill software and Heidenhain controls.
- Tooling selection, setter and operation of machinery.
- Working to precise engineering drawings
- Involved in producing small batch work and one-offs.
- Working to health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment-Automotive or Aerospace-is desirable.
- Experience of programming CMC mills using Heidenhain control systems.
- Able to set and operate CNC Machinery
- Hypermill experience would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
