The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join an Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis.
This is a great role for an experienced candidate looking for the next step in their career, or a candidate with a geotechnical/construction background to further develop skills in Contracts Management.
The successful candidate will work hybrid out of our clients Wickford office 2-3 days per week. Travel across the UK to visit customers in also required.
Remote options may also be considered for experienced candidates.
Scope of role
- Attend tender handover and deliver prestart meetings to team members.
- Produce and updating progress reports, updated cost reports and forecasts, whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
- To ensure that all operations on site are carried out safely and in accordance with the ruling Company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, Integrated Management System and method statements
- To provide support to the Estimating Department on contractual issues during the tendering/ pre-construction phase
Essential Criteria
- Full UK clean driving license
- Minimum 2 years' experience in either construction, ground investigation, ground engineering or a geotechnical setting
- CSCS Card would be desirable but not essential.
