Senior Electronics Engineer

An established leader in power supplies is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their Engineering department. This role is crucial for designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting power supplies and other products. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a passion for electronics and a strong background in engineering.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop, design, and test Power Supply Units (PSUs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or quality issues of PSUs.
- Interface with customers in projects and RMAs indirectly.
- Support sales by responding to technical enquiries.
- Lead and manage projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines and ensure smooth production.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct research to drive innovation and improvement in products and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Provide technical training for internal staff and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics engineering.
- Proven experience with PCB design and a deep knowledge of Analog Electronics.
- Experience with simulation and design tools such as SPICE and CAD software.
- Full driving license and legal entitlement to work in the UK.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuit design and testing of power supplies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with team members.

- Competitive salary range of £45k to £50k per year, depending on experience.
- Annual Leave: 20 days + 1 extra day per year worked (up to 25 days) + bank holidays.
