Stafforce are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to work for our prestigious client based in Rawreth near Wickford in Essex who are book distribution company. This is a potential temp to perm position for the right candidates.
The Role:
Loading/Unloading pallets of books and making the goods ready to be distributed. You may also be required to assist in the warehouse with packing at times. Keeping the work area clean and tidy and adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures at all times. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with some overtime offered at weekends when required.
Requirements:
A full & current Counterbalance Forklift Licence (no in-house certificates) with at least 12 months experience.
You will need some experience of working as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in a fast paced environment as you will be loading and unloading pallets of books and working with high value goods. A basic understanding of Health & Safety in a warehouse environment. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to get the job done. You will need a can do attitude and the job will involve manual labour as well as some manual lifting.
