Machinist - Miller/ Turner

Location: West Horndon, Essex, United Kingdom

Salary: 30,000 to 40,000 per annum

Permanent Position

The hiring company are currently seeking an experienced, time-served Workshop Machinist (Miller & Turner) to manufacture high-quality, precision-engineered parts at their Essex workshop.

Package:

The successful applicant will have the following profile:

* Relevant knowledge, training, and experience working in a machining environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Proficient in reading engineering drawings to produce parts and components.

* Calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments.

* Machining parts to pre-determined specifications using a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, machining centres, borers, grinders, and pedestal/radial drills.

* Ability to work to very high tolerances and maintain a high standard of quality.

* Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on health and safety.

* Execute all work with professionalism and care.
