Key Responsibilities:
Oversee & distribute incoming quotes, ensuring timely submissions
Lead estimation processes, from concept to bid submission
Analyse project specs, prepare cost estimates & identify cost-saving options
Collaborate with teams & mentor junior estimators
Stay updated on industry trends & assist in contract negotiations
Requirements:
10+ years in structural & architectural steel estimating
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication & construction
Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel)
Leadership, analytical & attention-to-detail skills
