This is a great opportunity, working alongside a great team. My client is a well established main contractor working with a strong pipeline of projects throughout 2025.

The Role:

Investigate new potential suppliers to strengthen the supply chain
Provide site material accruals on a monthly basis
Project and report material cost increases as they arise
Sourcing, negotiating purchasing materials & plant machinery
Understanding of project contractual requirements and ensure these are relayed to suppliers and sub-contractors as required
Work alongside the Estimating/Preconstruction team with cost analysis

This well established and respected contractor is looking for:

Previous experience as a Buyer working for a Main contracting business
Be able to understand construction drawings and components
Negotiation skills
Team Player
Self starter and organisational skills

Salary: Upto £55k - Negotiable and additional package
