We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Essex office and contribute to multiple ongoing projects.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee up to three construction projects simultaneously.Conduct evaluations and perform all Quantity Surveyor duties, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost plans.Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure accurate project costing.Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather and evaluate project requirements.Prepare and manage contracts, variations, and claims.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders.Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and bids.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, specifically in fit-outs and small builds.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Preference for candidates with a background in retail and education sectors.Ability to adapt quickly and start contributing with minimal training required.Skills:Strong financial and analytical skills.Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and skillset.Pension scheme.Company car or car allowance.Generous holiday entitlement.Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
