Your new companyYou will be working for a specialist steelwork contractor and manufacturer with a diverse client base across the UK. They work closely with their customers to design, manufacture and install, bringing projects to life from inception through to completion. They have been on an exciting journey of growth throughout the past few years and, as a result, are looking to grow their already well-developed team.Your new roleAs a quantity surveyor within the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for steel construction projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring they remain within budget.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
  • Assess value variations and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
