We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for accounts and a desire to develop their career in this field. No formal accounts qualifications are required, but administrative experience, initiative, proficiency in Excel, and good numeracy and written skills are essential. Upon completing your training, you will become a vital member of our team, responsible for the following daily tasks

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Reconcile approximately 300 accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Liaise with branches around the country to facilitate the booking of documentation.
  • Manage timely payments to suppliers to maintain smooth business operations.
  • Execute payment runs both in the bank and within our systems.
  • Create and maintain new supplier accounts on our systems.
  • Update all relevant spreadsheets with the latest data.
  • Address and resolve supplier queries promptly.
  • Handle a multi-currency purchase ledger with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the accounts team to assist in the efficient running of the department.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Some administrative experience is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good numeracy and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
