English Teacher - Wickford - Full Time
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Secondary English Teacher to work at a Secondary School in Wickford starting as soon as possible. This will be on an ongoing full time basis until the end of the academic year.
The school is a popular two-form entry mainstream Secondary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location- Wickford, Essex * Position - Secondary English Teacher * Contract or position start date - 03/09/2024* Duration / Likely Duration - Temp/Perm* Contract type - Temp/Perm* Full time/part time - Temp/Perm* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £140 per day* Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject* GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
* QTS/QLTS required
* Experience working within a school.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application* Provide two professional child related references
