Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated LSA to support a non-verbal, highly autistic Reception-aged boy in a school in Wickford. This is a long-term position, starting ASAP, where you will make a real difference in the child's development and well-being.

The Role:
- Student: Reception-aged boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), non-verbal, and highly autistic.
- Support Needs: The child requires one-on-one support throughout the school day, including communication assistance, behavioural support, and some personal care.
- Your Role: To provide tailored support to the child in class, assist with communication, promote independence, and support personal care needs as required.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Skills: Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual needs.
- Commitment: Passionate about supporting children to achieve their best and willing to provide consistent, high-quality support.
- Qualifications: While relevant qualifications (e.g., Team Teach, Makaton, or other SEND training) are beneficial, the key requirement is hands-on experience with SEND, particularly autism.
