Pugh Clarke & Co are an established Accountancy Practice based in Wickford, Essex. We provide accountancy, book-keeping, VAT and payroll services for our clients in a range of different industries.
The role;
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team at on a full-time permanent basis. Office hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (1 hour lunch break).
The role will mainly involve Financial Statements preparation for our Limited company clients but, dependant on skills and experience, may also involve the following but not limited to;
- Corporation tax returns
- Self-Assessment tax returns
- Management accounts
- LLP, Partnership and Sole Trader accounts
Experience and qualifications;
The ideal candidate will have a number of years experience working in Practice and will be used to the pressures of meeting monthly filing deadlines. They will also have experience helping junior members of staff with their progression in terms of technical knowledge and other training.
We use CCH for accounts software but also use Sage 50c, Sage Cloud Accounting, QuickBooks and Xero for book-keeping so experience using some or all of these software packages are essential.
Qualifications will include AAT, ACCA or equivalent or be part-qualified studying towards qualifying with one of these professional bodies.
Other;
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
A study package or CPD is also negotiable.
Annual leave entitlement is 20 days plus the Bank Holidays.
Car parking is also available.
