Job Description

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Goods Out Warehouse Operative to join our client’s dynamic team in Wickford, Essex. Due to ongoing growth, they require a dedicated member of the team to support their busy goods out department and contribute to their exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locating, picking, and packing stock with a keen attention to detail
  • Palletising and labelling packages in preparation for despatch
  • Moving pallets and orders between departments/buildings using pump trucks
  • Maintaining general warehouse cleanliness, including keeping all locations and aisles free of debris and performing ad hoc duties
  • Adhering to Health & Safety protocols
  • Communicating effectively and collaborating with other departments
  • Providing holiday cover for goods in and stock control departments
  • Handling other ad hoc duties as necessary

Candidate Requirements

  • Counterbalance Truck Licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload efficiently
  • Reliable and punctual, demonstrating good timekeeping skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations along with warehouse procedures
