Adore Recruitment is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for Warehouse Operatives to join our client, a global leader in the logistics industry, based in Wickford. This is a temp-to-perm position, ideal for individuals looking for a long-term career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately.
Position Details:
- Hours: 08:00am - 16:30pm, Monday to Friday (Full-time)
- Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour
- Location: Wickford, Essex
- Role Responsibilities:
- Storing, rotating, and organizing stock in accordance with established procedures to maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks by strictly adhering to operational procedures, company rules, and schedules.
- Handling and treating merchandise with care, ensuring items are stored safely and securely at all times.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of containers, ensuring goods are moved in and out of the warehouse efficiently.
- Sorting and locating parcels, ensuring they are placed in the correct locations within the warehouse for easy access and distribution.
- Performing general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and inventory control to support warehouse operations.
- Heavy lifting involved - candidates should be physically fit and able to handle the physical demands of the role.
